Fast and Accurate
A simple and rapid DNA test
can conclusively determine whether twins are identical or fraternal
(chorionicity). This test can be performed on children at any age,
including newborns.
What is needed?
For a twin zygosity test, a buccal
swab sample is obtained from the twins in question.
How soon can this test be completed?
Results are
available three days after sample collection. A testing kit can
be obtained by contacting Genetrack at 1-888-828-1899.
